DSA9-12F is a single phase bridge rectifier with a modern, tiny packaging. It is suitable for applications such as switch mode power supplies, low voltage battery chargers and DC-AC converters. The DSA9-12F is a four-terminal device that permits a full-wave bridge rectifier to be formed with a single component. It consists of two ultra-fast diodes in series with two Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBDs) in series, allowing it to be used in a bridge rectifier configuration for converting AC to DC. The integrated package provides high surge current capability, low forward voltage drop and reduced thermal resistance.

The DSA9-12F operates with a forward voltage drop of approximately 0.45V and a reverse breakdown voltage of 900V at 25°C. When an AC voltage is applied across the two input terminals, the current is rectified and can pass through only one direction, either through the top or bottom output terminal. This forms the full-wave bridge rectifier circuit.
