Working Principle: DSC2033FI2-F0039 consists of a selectable/channel specific Analog Front End (AFE) that drives an oscillator circuit. The oscillator circuit contains a voltage controlled oscillator, a quartz crystal and a phase frequency detector (PFD) to compare phase and frequency signals from the crystal. The PFD then generates a frequency-controlled voltage that is used to control the frequency of the VCXO. This enables the oscillator to generate highly accurate, very stable frequencies.
