The DZ9F15S92-7 can perform voltage-stabilizing, voltage-regulating and voltage-drop compensating functions for power supplies and other electronic equipment when used for mobile applications. It is also suitable for over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection of power supplies, such as barrier gate and transformer protection, as well as surge protection. It can also be used widely in industrial and automotive applications, such as voltage-stabilized modules, AC motor drives, DC motor controls and power drivers.Working Principle
The DZ9F15S92-7 is a silicon planar Zener diode, the specific product is of single-type and the nominal reverse impedance is 15V – 75mΩ at room temperature. When the voltage across the two terminals is less than the nominal voltage, the device will remain off, but when the voltage is greater than the nominal voltage, the device will go into breakdown and generate a stable voltage. The DZ9F15S92-7 allows for greater precision and stability, as well as less power consumption, thanks to its high precision current leakage and a very low temperature coefficient. The working process of the DZ9F15S92-7 is as below: when the amount of current passing through the two terminals exceeds the threshold, it will cause the depletion region at the P-N junction to become thinner, leading to a decrease in the electric field strength.
