The ECE-A1EKG470 is a cylindrical, polarised, non-solid, aluminium electrolytic capacitor with 100% tin-plated with 85°C Screw terminal case - graded 85/105°C. Working Principle: Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are polarized components. This means that they have two different terminals, the anode and the cathode. When a voltage is applied, an electric field is generated in the electrolyte between the two electrodes, causing current to flow in the electrolyte from the anode to the cathode.
