Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, or aluminium electrolytic capacitors, are a type of electrolytic capacitor that are widely used in electronic circuits because of their very high capacitance values in small packages. An aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of two aluminum foils separated by a paper impregnated with an electrolyte and rolled together to form a cylindrical shape. The foil inside is the anode, and the foil outside is the cathode. The capacitance of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is determined by the area of the anode foil and the conductivity of the electrolyte inside the capacitor. The electrolyte combined with the aluminum foil creates a thin oxide film on the surface of the anode foil, which acts as the dielectric in the capacitor.

The working principle of the ECE-A1EKS330B is based on Faraday\'s law of electrochemical capacitance. When an electrical charge is applied to an electrolytic capacitor, it creates an electrochemical reaction that forms a layer of oxide on the anode foil and serves as the dielectric. The deposited metal ions from the electrolyte increase the capacitance of the anode surface, thus providing the storage capacity of the capacitor. As the capacitor\'s anode surface accumulates more and more ions, its capacitance gradually increases. The ECE-A1EKS330B has an extended operating life, exceeding 2000 hours, and is rated for up to 1000V AC.
