Aluminum electrolytic capacitors (also known as “Al-Ele” or “electrolytic) are used in a variety of electronic applications, from power supplies and motors to audio components and television sets.ECE-A1VN471U is a new high frequency aluminum electrolytic capacitor series with an innovative design that provides exceptional reliability, excellent reliability & power. It has very low ESR and DF and works up to 1500V.

The ECE-A1VN471U series is comprised of two polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitors in axial lead package types. It offers several advantages over traditional aluminum electrolytic capacitors, such as longer lifetime, smaller package size, and better temperature stability. It is ideal for use in high frequency applications, such as Audio-Video, Video Equipment, High Frequency Power Supplies, and Automotive applications.

The working principle of ECE-A1VN471U is similar to that of all aluminum electrolytic capacitors. It consists of two aluminum electrodes (anodes and cathodes) and a separator filled with an electrolyte, usually a mixture of water and electrolyte salt. When a voltage is applied between the anode and cathode, an electric current passes through the electrolyte and a double layer of electrically charged ions forms on the surface of the anodes and cathodes. This double layer of ions creates a charged storage layer between the electrodes, building up a capacitance. The capacitance of ECE-A1VN471U is increased by adding additional ion layers, thus providing a higher capacitance than other aluminum electrolytic capacitors.

The ECE-A1VN471U series is designed to provide reliable performance in high frequency applications. It has excellent capacitance/resistance characteristics, high resistance to temperature changes (measured in part per million per degree Celsius), and is protected against surges, over-voltage and reverse polarity. The capacitor has low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and DF (Dissipation Factor). This, combined with its tight capacitance and voltage tolerance, makes it the ideal choice for a variety of difficult design challenges.

The ECE-A1VN471U series is available in axial lead packages from 4 71uF. It is RoHS compliant and designed for easy installation and maintenance.
