ECE-P2WA152HA Working Principle

The ECE-P2WA152HA series utilizes wet electrolytic technology to achieve its high volumetric efficiency and low ESR. A liquid electrolyte is stored within its sealed metal case and is used to plate out a thin layer of aluminum oxide on the anode. The anode and metal case form the dielectric of the capacitor, and the electrolyte acts as the cathode. This arrangement allows for the creation of an electric field, which stores electrical energy.This electric field causes a change in surface potential on the anode and cathode, and this creates a charge separation. This charge separation creates an electric potential around the capacitor, allowing it to store energy.
