    Aluminum electrolytic capacitors (solid type aluminum electrolytic capacitors) are generally referred to as dual-layer capacitors or electrolytic capacitors. It is a polarized capacitor. This polarized capacitor consists of two electrodes and one ionized electrolyte. It has large capacity and small volume. It is widely used in various electronic circuits. ECO-S2GB101BA is a particular type of aluminum electrolytic capacitor and is also an intermediate frequency capacitance.

    ECO-S2GB101BA is a kind of aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a volumetric capacitance of 470-1800 μF, a rated voltage of 25-50V, and an actual rated voltage of 26.8-51V. It is a half-dip type capacitor for surface mounting. It can be divided into three categories: SMD (Suitable for surface mounting and soldering), DIP (suitable for plugging-in and diffusing), and WASHD (suitable for plugging-in, diffusing and welding). In the circuit design application, the ECO-S2GB101BA electrochemical capacitance should pay attention to the volume factor, temperature factor, leakage current, rated voltage and rated capacity.

    The working principle of ECO-S2GB101BA is mainly based on the polarization effect. Under the action of electric field, the ability of dielectrics is reduced so as to store charge. In the aluminum electrolytic capacitance, two layers of ultra-thin aluminum oxide film are formed on the surface of aluminum plate under the effect of electrolyte and applied voltage. When a voltage is applied, free electrons in the metal are attracted to the oxide film and form a negative charge. The other plate is also solidified with oxides and the ions of the electrolyte form a positive charge on its surface. These two charges attract each other and form a positive-negative pair. The positive-negative pair with the most distance becomes a pair of electric dipoles, and then the pairs of electric dipoles form an electric double layer, which makes the two plates have electric surface charge and electric field polarization. This electric energy stored in the polarization of the dielitric makes the capacitor have the ability to store charge and electricity.

    As aluminum electrolysis capacitors are very sensitive to temperature, they need high temperature safety. If the temperature of the capacitor is too high, the reliability of the capacitor will be affected, and even produce cracks, affect the capacitance value, reducing the lifespan of the capacitor. Therefore, from the use of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, it is necessary to pay attention to the temperature factor. The higher the temperature, the shorter the life of the capacitor. In general, the allowable temperature of general aluminum electrolytic capacitors is around 105℃, and the high temperature type aluminum electrolytic capacitors is around 125℃.

    ECO-S2GB101BA are mainly used in occasions with large capacitance, high voltage, high frequency, low noise, low impedance and small size.
