Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are a type of capacitor which uses an ionic conductive foil as an anode, a non-ionic conductive foil as a cathode, and an electrolyte as an electrical field between them. The EE-1HA470UAP is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor used mainly in high-volume/volume applications such as power supplies, energy control systems, decoupling circuits and so on.The major feature of the EE-1HA470UAP is its low ESR (equivalent series resistance), which is one of the lowest among any plant-made product. Its ultra-high-end feature, high stability, and long life-span have been translated into a comprehensive solution for the complexity and demand for high-end products.The EE-1HA470UAP works by having a polarized plate charge up to the breakdown voltage. As this plate charge increases, it pushes electrons away from its surface and creates a negative charge on the plate. This is known as the ‘’double-layer effect’’ and it creates a voltage potential difference between the two plates. This potential difference can then be used for many different applications.One of the most common applications for the EE-1HA470UAP is the decoupling of the AC mains. As the a.c. current changes its direction, the effect of capacitance will change in response. Thus, the EE-1HA470UAP acts like a low pass filter, allowing only low-frequency signals to pass through while blocking any high-frequency signals. This is commonly known as the ‘’half-wave rectification effect’’.The capacitance of the EE-1HA470UAP is stable at temperatures up to 85°C, although it is recommended to keep its working temperature under 65°C. It has an extended operational life-span due to its improved blocking voltage, ESR and its low leakage current. The EE-1HA470UAP works with a voltage up of to 400VDC, with a rated capacitance up to 4700µF.The EE-1HA470UAP is also applicable to other types of applications.
