The EEE-FK1H390SP is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed explicitly for high temperature application such as inverter, welding, motor drive, and general power control. This capacitor, manufactured by Murata, offers superior performance in a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.

The EEE-FK1H390SP aluminum electrolytic capacitor is Radial Through Hole type and available in a single configuration. It has a capacitance of 390uF and has a rated Voltage of 350Vdc. The rated Temperature range is -55°C to 105°C, and the capacitance tolerance is -20% to +50%. The capacitor features Non-Polarized type of winding technology. The working principle of aluminum electrolytic capacitors is based on electrolytic oxidation of aluminum. This oxidation forms a thin metal oxide film on the aluminum surface, which is used as the dielectric for the capacitor. When a voltage is applied across the terminals of this capacitor, current flows through the dielectric causing further oxidation and growth of the oxide layer. This oxide layer produces very high electric fields across it and as a result, the capacitance increases as the voltage increases.

Since the oxide layer forms an effective separator, it allows the electric charges to accumulate on the aluminum plates. The capacitance of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is very high compared to other types of capacitors, and can range from several micro-farads to several thousand microfarads.

The EEE-FK1H390SP aluminum electrolytic capacitor is an ideal choice for high temperature application, due to its good electrical properties, superior temperature characteristics, and high capacitance. Furthermore, it delivers high ripple current and low ESR and ESL at lower impedance compared to other aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
