Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, also known as e-caps, are one of the most widely used types of capacitors available on the market today.  They are made up of two metal plates that are separated by an electrolyte, typically composed of a mixture of water and conductive salts such as sodium chloride.  When an electric current is applied to the plates, an electrochemical reaction takes place, resulting in a buildup of electric charge on the plates.  This increases the capacitance of the capacitor and in turn, increases the electrical energy stored in the capacitor.

The EEU-FR1J820 is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor and it is designed for use in the telecommunications, automotive, and consumer audio-visual industries.  It has a maximum capacitance of 820µF and rated voltage of 25VDC.  Its wide temperature range, up to +125°C, makes it ideal for use in automotive and agricultural applications.  Unlike many other aluminum electrolytic capacitors, the EEU-FR1J820 is equipped with a safety valve that prevents it from rupturing if the internal pressure gets too high.
