Working Principle

The hardened anode EEU-FS1A182B capacitors are composed of two electrodes and an electrolyte. The two electrodes are constructed from aluminum foil strips, which increase the surface area and enable the capacitor to store more energy. The electrolyte is a mixture of components including water and sulfuric acid, and this mixture helps to create a conductive pathway between the two aluminum foil parts. When electric current passes through the electrolyte, it produces an anodic reaction causing the electricity to be stored and temporarily held at the electrolyte. The anodic reaction allows the electrons to move back and forth producing electrostatic field in the capacitor.
