Inside the aluminum electrolytic capacitor, the oxide film acts as the dielectric and the electrolyte serves as the medium which helps the oxide film to form an excellent oxide layer. While under working, it will generate a field between anodic foil and cathodic foil, causing a voltage drop which may lead to leakage current.
