Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are a type of polarised capacitor normally used in electronic circuits. When assembling the EEU-TP1V121B, the two metal plates are heated, causing the Al2O3 dielectric solution to be formed. The thick film of aluminium oxide creates a barrier between the two metal plates, blocking the flow of current and therefore creating a substantial amount of capacitance. In order to ensure tight tolerances and reliable performance, the aluminium oxide film is coated with polypropylene, which serves to reduce noise and engender product stability.The EEU-TP1V121B can be used in various applications such as timing circuits, filters, and snubbers.
