EL4581CN

EL4581CN is an integrated video and audio processing system designed for high-end broadcast applications. It combines a variety of video and audio processing functions, including analogue video, analogue audio, digital video, digital audio, metadata, and 3D graphics, in one unit. In the linear-video processing field, the EL4581CN provides a multifunctional system, allowing users to apply the same processor to multiple tasks. It offers the capability to encode up to 16 channels of analogue and digital audio, process digital video information up to 1080p, and decode HD/SD digital video. The EL4581CN also includes a range of analogue and digital processing functions, such as A/D and D/A conversion, mixing and matching of components, chroma key, image analyzing and processing, video switching, noise reduction and video up-sampling.

The EL4581CN works on a modular basis, so users can configure the system to their specific needs. It has a built-in processor that runs the entire system. This processor is based on the AMCC PowerPC 604e architecture and contains a set of dedicated video, audio and graphics processor cores. The processor can handle up to 16 instructions simultaneously and can process up to 256 instructions per second in "Real Time" mode.

The core of the EL4581CN’s audio and video processing technology is based on the E-DSP (Enhanced Digital Signal Processing) technology, which provides extremely efficient signal processing in terms of precision, frequency response, and overall accuracy.
