Working Principle

The EL5367IU-T13 adheres to a two wire bus topology to support angle and rate measurement. By inputting a precise reference frequency, the internal resonant circuit drives the capacitive rate sensor to create an ac waveform. This waveform is scanned and then converted into digital code representations of the measured angle/rate.The EL5367IU-T13\'s integrated digital controller then elaborates the measured data and provides improved noise- immunity and stabilization. This AmR sensor eliminates the necessity of micro-controller based bi-directional parallel connection, thus making the device highly reliable and immune to external noise sources.Furthermore, the integrated temperature compensation ensures a stable and precise operation temperature range of -40°C to +125°C in automotive environments. As an additional feature, the integrated flash memory allows the EL5367IU-T13 to store up to 10 angular positions, which can also be used as programmable limit points.
