EL7457CL is a high-speed, low-noise gate driver with full-buffer capability and capable of driving up to 8A factory guaranteed peak output current. It is mainly used in 10V to 30V operation circuits and its low saturation voltage, very fast power turn-on, 750ps of short-circuit protection, 275ps of over-current protection and 2.3A of continuous output current makes it ideal for automotive applications such as sound processors, motor-control modules, and motor-drives. Working Principle

The EL7457CL is a car-type gate driver, which is mainly composed of two independent logic control terminals, driver output stage and power amplifier current module. The driver output stage includes a drain-source drive module and a left/right eye isolation resistance module. The power amplifier current module provides sufficient drive current to ensure that the sink-source power device can be quickly turned on and off.

The device control logic is divided into two parts, the logic control terminal and the power amplifier current module. The logic control terminal provides input control for the forward and reverse conduction, the shutdown control and the inverse switch of the device.
