The EL7536IY-T13 is a special type of DC to DC buck switching regulator. This type of regulator power management integrated circuit(PMIC) is designed to maximum power applications while limiting inefficiencies found in regular linear regulators.

The EL7536IY-T13 operates as an integrated buck switching regulator with a minimum input voltage of 3.3V. The regulator can provide up to 50A at 6V output without a heat sink. The switching regulator offers up to 85% efficiency. The device is also provided with numerous features such as over current protection (OCP), over voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage lock out (UVLO), thermal shutdown (TSD), and programmable switching frequency.
