EPC1LI20N is a series of high-density, single-level configurable configuration PROMs designed in TSOP and WFBGA package configurations. With its wide operating voltage, the EPC1LI20N supports an industry-standard 20-pin configuration interface and 1.8 V to 3.0 V I/O. Other features include a two-bit error detection capability for maximum configuration reliability and a built-in erase function for a universal device deployment.
EPC1LI20N configuration PROMs offer prime and temperature-stable parameters, factory-programmable OTP and byte-wise write and erase operation, and are a great fit in FPGAs and SoCs. These single-level configuration packages come with a reliable and secure battery-less configuration update capability and benefits, such as providing on-chip configuration data before the power-on-reset. With its simple three-wire serial bus communications interface, the FPGA configuration process can be flow without the need for in-system programming operations.
The EPC1LI20N configuration PROMs use different technologies to write, read and store the configuration data to the PROM. The data is stored using an EEPROM technology and the data is checked and read using an on-board RAM controller.
