Eval-AD2S1200SDZ is versatile evaluation and demonstration platform for the AD2S1200 series of resolver-to-digital converters. This kit offers an exceptionally comprehensive range of features and provides a complete development environment wherein users can evaluate the performance, confirm the functionality and assess the real-world applications of this AD2S1200 series. The Eval-AD2S1200SDZ application field includes servo drive systems, sensorless motor control systems, radar servo motors, aerospace platforms, motion control systems, positioning and navigation systems, robotics, industrial automation, medical imaging systems, automotive applications and other related systems. It can also be used in security, surveillance, gaming and entertainment applications.
The Eval-AD2S1200SDZ working principle is based on a feedback loop of resolver signals which are converted to digital output signals using a 24-bit AD2S1210 resolver-to-digital converter through an isolated interface. It allows users to accurately obtain the absolute angular position of a shaft within a full revolution. The absolute position output can be used for various motion control applications, allowing synchronized motion control of multiple motors from a single controller.
This evaluation kit consists of several key components such as the AD2S1210 converter, an LDC1612 high-precision motor controller and an RPA24005 isolated power supply module. Additionally, it also includes a GUI LabVIEW software program which aids in optimized parameter-configuration and data-logging of the evaluation process. Additionally, it also supports several signal frequencies such as sine-wave, pulse-width modulation, quadrature codes and can be used to simulate various signal types.
