The EVAL-KXTIK-1004 from Kionix inc. is a evaluation board that provides evaluation, testing, and technical support for over a dozen range of inertial sensors. This evaluation board functions as a combo sensor evaluation platform, allowing the user to evaluate each sensor in combination with the other. The board provides performance evaluation data for each sensor, allowing the user to compare how each one performs under different operating conditions. The EVAL-KXTIK-1004 evaluation board includes two types of inertial sensors: a KXTIK-1004 Accelerometer and a KXTIK-1004 Gyroscope. Using a small form factor, the accelerometer can measure linear acceleration up to 10g with a resolution of typically 8 bits. With a large bandwidth and a wide operating range (up to 90g), the gyroscope can measure angular motion up to 3000dps with a resolution of typically 8 bits.
