EVAL-AD5520EBZ is a two-channel serial communication interface evaluation and demonstration board and kit from Analog Devices, Inc. It contains two independent channels of 10-bit and 8-bit resolution AD5520 series DACs in 8-pin SOIC packages. This evaluation and demonstration board is designed to provide high accuracy analog performance for analog-to-digital conversions, motor control and digital to analog conversions. The EVAL-AD5520EBZ evaluation and demonstration board features a single high-speed, low-noise DAC, and a fast on-board MCU, allowing for fast and accurate programming of both DAC channels. It also offers both analog and digital debuggers, as well as a full range of probes, sockets, and power supply options, all of which make the EVAL-AD5520EBZ the ideal evaluation and demonstration platform for applications requiring high-speed, low-noise DACs.The EVAL-AD5520EBZ is ideally suited for industrial, instrumentation and motor control applications. The evaluation and demonstration board features a wide input dynamic range of up to +/- 10V, allowing for a wide range of analog input signals. The outputs from the DACs can be fed directly to analog circuits, motors or digital circuits as required. On-board MCU programming is provided to ensure that the DAC registers are updated quickly and accurately. The EVAL-AD5520EBZ also offers several features for signal processing and communications, including a 8-bit PWM generator, a SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) slave, and a 12-bit I2C master.
