The EVAL-AD7414/15EBZ evalution module is a powerful tool for both research and industrial applications that allow engineers to quickly evaluate the performance of the AD7414 and AD7415. Measuring just 38.1 mm x 25.4 mm (1.5 x 1 in), the board includes a voltage reference, a buffered reference voltage, six operational amplifiers (op amps), three low-noise amplifiers, two voltage comparators and three analogue switches. This versatile board enables users to easily measure various aspects of the AD7414/15 family performance.

The EVAL-AD7414/15EBZ evaluation board operates using the AD7414/15 family of I2C temperature sensors, which are used in a wide variety of automotive, biomedical, and consumer electronics applications. This approach allows for dynamic control and monitoring of analogue signals from I2C interface. The atmospheric temperature is measured in Celsius or Fahrenheit and the device generates a 10-bit digital code that represents the temperature.

The AD7414/15EBZ has two main advantages: low power consumption and high accuracy. The AD7414/15EBZ can operate in either I2C mode (two-wire mode) or SPI (four-wire mode). It eliminates the need for a separate power supply circuit which reduces the overall board size.
