Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits have become an increasingly important part of the development of electronic systems. The EVAL-ADM2490EEBZ is a versatile evaluation and demonstration platform, designed to facilitate the rapid evaluation and design of multi-channel, high-frequency differential data transmission systems. The EVAL-ADM2490EEBZ board is designed to evaluate the performance of the high-speed ADM2490E differential transceiver. The EVAL-ADM2490EEBZ board is an evaluation platform for the development of high-speed, multi-channel, differential data transmission systems for applications requiring high-speed, multi-channel high-speed serial data transmission.The EVAL-ADM2490EEBZ board includes a series of 32 differential line RJ-45 connectors, an oscilloscope probe adapter, an on-board resistor ladder simulation of external systems, a set of on-board currentsense resistors, and a PC interface to allow for the evaluation of system performance. The board is equipped with high-speed transmission line primitives and a set of high-speed signal waveforms, which enable the evaluation of the performance of the ADM2490E transceiver in specific applications. The ADM2490E transceiver has a multi-channel data transmission rate of up to 4.25Gbps, making it suitable for applications requiring the transmission of high-speed, multi-channel, differential data.The working principle of the EVAL-ADM2490EEBZ is based on electrical and optical transmission of data timed to the ADM2490E transceiver\'s transmit and receive clocks. The on-board RJ-45 connectors enable electrical data transmission between the evaluation board and associated test systems. The RJ-45 connectors are connected to the on-board amplifier which is connected to the ADM2490E transceiver\'s differential data lines. The ADM2490E transceiver instructs the associated system to transmit and receive data over the RJ-45 connectors. The on-board resistor ladder is used to simulate different loading scenarios to evaluate the performance of the transceiver at different loading conditions. The on-board currentsense resistors provide information on the actual current consumption of the associated system as it is transmitting and receiving data over the RJ-45 connectors.The EVAL-ADM2490EEBZ board is an ideal evaluation and demonstration platform for high-speed, multi-channel, differential data transmission systems.
