EVAL-CN0397-ARDZ is an evaluation board for Impedance Spectroscopy which is designed for industrial and biomedical applications. The evaluation board is a part of the Analog Devices Multi-Product Line family of daughter boards. It is also compatible with the Multi-RTM compatible expansion board.The multi-source Impedance Spectroscopy application evaluation board is designed to accurately measure complex impedance spectra of passive and active circuits in a wide range of frequencies. It combines the benefits of high precision spectral analysis and multi-low-noise source measurements to provide an accurate and flexible solution for any impedance testing application.The main features of the EVAL-CN0397-ARDZ evaluation board include:• High-performances and low noise spectrum analyzer : The EVAL-CN0397-ARDZ Impedance Spectroscopy evaluation board features a low-noise spectrum analyzer which is capable of accurately measuring impedances up to 63 kHz.• Flexible source signals : The evaluation board includes a wide range of signal sources which can be selected to suit the specific impedance to be measured.• Multi-input impedance analyser : The board also includes a multi-input impedance analyser which allows measurements of complex impedances from up to eight different devices.• High-precision multi-channel amplifier : The evaluation board includes a high-precision multi-channel amplifier which can measure impedances up to 1 MHz. • Programmable offset and signal generator : The board also includes a programmable offset and signal generator for generating various source signals for impedance measurements.• User-friendly software : The software for the EVAL-CN0397-ARDZ Impedance Spectroscopy evaluation board is designed to be easy to use for both novice and experienced users.The main applications of this evaluation board include:• Measurement of impedance in passive and active devices• Detection and characterisation of open circuits• Detection and analysis of defects in integrated circuits• Detection and analysis of parasitic components• Characterisation of RF antennas for communication systems• Detection of electrochemical properties of materialsThe working principle of the EVAL-CN0397-ARDZ Impedance Spectroscopy evaluation board is based on a combination of electrical and signal processing technologies.
