EVAL-KXTI9-1001, manufactured by Analog Devices, is a high performance, low power, iSensor MEMS inertial module that integrates a 3-axis accelerometer with a 3-axis gyroscope. The module combines the advanced MEMS design techniques, signal processing, and packaging technologies of Analog Devices into a miniature, dual-die device. It is designed specifically for consumer applications having a small form factor, low power consumption, and easy integration into a wide range of powered consumer products.
The EVAL-KXTI9-1001 is ideal for various motion sensing applications such as gaming, navigation, activity monitoring and gesture recognition. It integrates a high sensitivity three-axis accelerometer, three-axis magnetometer, and an ultra-low noise three-axis gyroscope all combined in an extremely small 10 mm × 10 mm × 1.25 mm package. The module offers both freefall detection and shock detection, which makes it highly suitable for applications such as impact measurements, and security alarms.
The module also offers superb low power operation across a very wide temperature range, making it suitable for demanding embedded applications. It has built in signal conditioning that eliminates thermal offsets and bias drift.
