.The EVAL01-HMC1049LP5 is an industrial grade RF Evaluation and Development Kit, Board manufactured by SiGe Semiconductor. It is a powerful tool for designers and engineers to evaluate and characterize the performance of RF & microwave systems & components. This RF Development Kit, Board enables rapid prototyping of a wide range of applications that require high frequency & linearity performance.
The EVAL01-HMC1049LP5 features a wide range of frequency, gain, and linearity, along with a wide dynamic range. It is designed specifically to support the HMC1049LP5 Silicon Germanium (SiGe) bipolar monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) which is ideal for applications requiring high frequency and linearity. It is also suitable for rapid prototyping of a wide range of applications such as RF sensor modules, WiFi modules, radio basestations, and more.
This RF Evaluation and Development Kit, Board contains an integrated amplifier, a mixed-mode PGA, and temperature compensation circuitry. The amplifier is capable of operating over a wide range of frequencies (500MHz - 4GHz) and providing high gain and linearity performance. The kit also includes a temperature compensation circuit which enables the amplifier to maintain optimal performance in a wide range of temperatures.
The main components of the EVAL01-HMC1049LP5 include the SiGe HMC1049LP5 MMIC, a DC - 4GHz low noise amplifier (LNA) board, and a temperature compensation board.
