The EVAL6928Q1 is a high-performance switching power supply evaluation board, designed to demonstrate the features of the STEVAL-6928V1, an offline LED driver IC that is ideally suited for a wide range of ac-dc and dc-dc applications. This evaluation board features a wide range of inputs allowing it to work with AC/DC and DC/DC input voltages from 8V to 40V. It is a highly efficient power supply that is capable of providing up to 1.2A continuous current output and up to 4A peak current output. It has an efficient switch mode power supply design that minimizes the overall form factor to optimize power usage.The EVAL6928Q1 evaluation board is designed for easy testing and evaluation of the STEVAL-6928V1 device. It includes full protection features such as output voltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, and current-limiting. This board is highly integrated with a low number of external components required, making it ideal for system integration and reducing the Bill of Materials (BoM). The IC includes a Frequency Modulated Control (FM-Control) circuit that provides adjustable switching frequency and peak current control.
