EVALVIPER17H-6W is a DC/DC and AC/DC off-line switching power supply evaluation board. It includes dual-output switching power supply specifically designed for efficient low-power operation in the 1 watt power level. This evaluation board includes both DC/DC and AC/DC outputs and provides high-efficiency and low-noise operation for powering electronic circuits over a varying input voltage range.The EVALVIPER17H-6W evaluation board is equipped with four independent power supplies. This includes two DC/DC Buck-Boost converters, one DC/DC Fly-back converter and one AC/DC Fly-back converter. The evaluation board also includes two auxiliary outputs, one offering 5V DC and the other offering 3.3V DC, for supplying low-power ICs in the system.The DC/DC Buck-Boost Converters of the evaluation board feature a variable input voltage of 6V to 15V, a continuous output voltage range from 0.8V to 1.25V, and a continuous output current up to 200mA. The DC/DC Fly-back converter operates at a fixed input voltage of 6V and provides 5V as an output voltage. The AC/DC Fly-back converter operates at a fixed input voltage of 6V and provides 5V as output voltage. The output voltage range of the AC/DC Fly-back converter is adjustable from 0.8V to 5V.The evaluation board is designed to provide high efficiency operation in the 1 watt power level. It is equipped with a number of features to ensure efficient operation such as a wide operating temperature range, current and voltage protection, dynamic voltage scaling, and an adjustable switching frequency. The board also features a low-noise switching frequency, adjustable output current, and adjustable output voltage.The EVALVIPER17H-6W evaluation board also includes an integrated IC controller which includes several onboard ICs such as an MOSFET driver, a decoupling capacitor, and an LED indicator. The IC controller helps to regulate the output voltage and switch frequency of the board to ensure efficient operation.In addition to the features of the evaluation board, the board also includes dedicated programming software which can be used to easily configure the parameters of the board and adjust the various features such as the output voltage, current, and switch frequency.
