Overview

The FAN2518S26X is a high performance linear regulator designed to provide a regulated 2.6V output over a wide 2.8V to 5.5V input voltage range. Working Principle

The FAN2518S26X is a low dropout linear regulator that works by regulating the negative feedback of a reference circuit with a regulating transistor to maintain a constant output voltage. The internal reference voltage is an accuracy of 0.8%, making the output voltage very accurate and stable. The device has two main operating modes: quiescent current mode and power down mode.
