It provides a highly efficient power conversion solution in board-level applications such as digital media players, PC motherboards, LCD and LED displays, network and embedded system applications, digital TV, and portable electronic devices.It features TrueShutdown technology which allows the regulator to operate at high efficiency even when the output is disabled. It features internal soft start and adjustable current limit for superior transient response and system protection. The FAN49103AUC340X combines a high efficiency power conversion stage with low noise operation and integrated protection features to enable a reliable, high performance system design.FAN49103AUC340X is designed for high efficiency, low noise, and reliable operation in a wide range of environment conditions. It can operate from an input voltage range of 4V to 28V, and provides an output voltage of 2.5V to 5V at up to 1500mA. The device includes integrated soft start, current limit, power management, and a built-in output voltage reference. An adjustable output voltage may be achieved by programming the desired voltage through the use of external resistors.The device operates in current mode to provide superior transient response. It utilizes a pulse width modulation (PWM) control architecture to provide excellent line and load regulation. The internal compensation eliminates the need for additional external components, with the exception of one external capacitor.The FAN49103AUC340X is rated for operation over a temperature range of ?40°C to +125°C and is available in a lead (Pb)-free, surface-mount QFN 8mm x 8mm package.
