FAN65005A is a highly integrated, fixed off-time current mode, step-down power converter providing up to 1A output current from a single/dual Li-ion battery. It consists of a high-side PMOS and a low-side N-channel power MOSFET with an included feedback network. The feedback network provides a regulated voltage and current at the output stage of the power MOSFET. The device provides excellent transient response with fast control loop settling time.

The FAN65005A can be used in a variety of applications, from portable consumer electronics to industrial and automotive systems. In portable applications, it can provide good power efficiency and low heat dissipation. In industrial and automotive applications, it can be used to provide reliable, smooth and accurate voltage/current regulation as well as providing over-temperature protection functions.
