The working principle of FD2D006P9 is based on the optical waveguide theory and linear dispersion law. It utilizes the guidance of light activity in the waveguide, which causes some of the light to refract through the material. When light is reflected, some of the energy is lost, producing a dispersion of the light that can be measured and compensated. The transmitted light passes through the optical waveguide and is received by the light splitter. The splitter divides the light into multiple components that can then be detected individually. Each of these components is monitored by the waveform display and the spectral response of the light is measured.
