The FEP16DTA Rectifier array is a multi-chip monolithic integrated circuit device which is composed of two Schottky barrier brake diodes (SBDs) fabricated in a single package. A Schottky barrier diode, or SBD, is a type of diodes with a higher forward voltage than other conventional diodes. The FEP16DTA rectifier array is ideal for power supplies, battery chargers and DC/DC converters. This rectifier device has excellent thermal resistance, low forward voltage drop and fast switching capabilities. It is also easy to mount with its TO252 (DPAK)-style package.

The main purpose of a rectifier array is to convert alternating current (AC) to a direct current (DC). The FEP 16DTA Rectifier array is able to do this by transferring AC electric power into a pair of SBDs that switch on and off at a certain rate. Current is then flows through the SBDs, and gets rectified into DC voltage, through a process known as rectification. This process is a form of non-linear filtering, which converts the AC signal into a steady DC signal.

The FEP16DTA is also known as a dual-channel rectifier array. It consists of two independent diodes and a single package.
