FIN224CMLX is a multipurpose field-programmable interface (FAI) connecting neural networks, microcontrollers and intelligent instruments. Specifically, it enables fast and reliable data exchange and communication between different systems and/or sensors, regardless of their data type, protocol and connection type. The FIN224CMLX is also referred to as a serializer, deserializer or transceiver.A serializer is a device or component that converts digital signals into serial data. A deserializer, on the other hand, converts serial data into digital signals. As a transceiver, the FIN224CMLX is also capable of simulating both sending and receiving serial data between systems, thus facilitating bi-directional communication in real-time with low latency and high speed.
The FIN224CMLX features high flexibility in its communication architecture. It can be configured with up to 32 channels with three-way data exchange, while its architecture supports digital and analog inputs/outputs (I/Os). As such, digital signals received from the field go through the serializer, while deserialized data is sent digital. With up to 32 channels, the FIN224CMLX is capable of handling and processing data using multiple systems on either side of the interface.
