Working Principle

The FM22LD16-55-BGTR consists of 16K of non-volatile memory cell array and an integrated address decoder. It operates in a standard 5V voltage source and its data retention period is approximately 200 years. It has a selectable read/write speed of 5 nano-seconds, which is three times as fast as conventional non-volatile memory devices. The device also exhibits high reliability with its ESD protection up to 6000V.

This device has a wide operating temperature range and supports up to four write cycles. It supports an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and an operating frequency of 50MHz. It also has a wide variety of write protection configurations which allows customizing the level of security and read/write speed based on the application. This device also features an internal power on/off reset which ensures that the memory is initialized properly and any invalid content is removed.
