Optoisolators are optical components that transfer an electrical signal from one system to another with a physical barrier of a light-emitting diode (LED) and an optical detector. The FOD2200TV Logic Output Optoisolator is a device capable of isolating digital logic signals for a variety of applications. The FOD22000TV is a 4-pin dip device, with pins 1, 2 and 4 as the input pins and pin 3 as the output pin. The FOD2200TV is capable of transmitting signals with a frequency range up to 1 MHz and a voltage range of 5 V. When it is used to transmit digital logic signals, it provides an isolation voltage of 2500 Vrms. Therefore, it can isolate the transmitter from the receiver, eliminating the risk of ground loops and other stray voltage interferences.
