FR301-AP Application Field and Working Principle

When the peak AC voltage is greater than the diode\'s forward voltage drop, the diode will allow current flow in the opposite direction, thus creating a reverse current path. This is the opposite of the forward voltage bias operation described in the previous paragraph.
