The FRDM-KL27Z evaluation platform is a low cost development platform for the Kinetis L Series low power microcontrollers. This platform features the NXP MKL27Z128VLK4 processor and is designed to quickly prove out the capabilities of the new microcontroller without the need for an external programmer / debugger. The FRDM-KL27Z is an ideal starting platform for developing code for the Kinetis L Series microcontrollers.

The FRDM-KL27Z development system includes the following components:

• Onboard JTAG adapter
• Peripheral modules such as I2C, UART, SPI, PWM, ADC, and DAC
