FSA4157AP6 Application Field and Working Principle

FSA4157AP6 is a low-voltage CMOS analog switch, with a low on-resistance and a low threshold voltage. The switch is designed using a monolithic process with a double polysilicon structure and an N-well isolation structure. In addition, it is protected by backside surface planarization to ensure high reliability. It has increased on-resistance and on-capacitance, thereby resulting in improved performance.

The FSA4157AP6 is a low-power switch operating from a single 3V power supply, making it suitable for various applications, such as portable, automotive and consumer electronics. It offers a single switch solution for low-voltage analog signal switching, allowing for the easy integration of multiplexer and high-speed logic switching applications.

The device provides two selectable input paths, each path providing a single pole/single throw (SPST) switch, with both switch paths having independent enable controls. The device has a low ON-resistance of 7 Ohms and low on-capacitance of 20pF, enabling high-speed switching in a wide variety of applications. The operating range is from -55 degree Celsius to 125 degree Celsius.
