The FST3383QSC features four control signals: three select lines (A0, A1 and A2), and an active-low enable. These control signals allow the user to select which of the 256 data lines (MUX output) are passed to the corresponding output of the demultiplexer (DEMUX output). The multiplexer is designed to operate at up to 10MHz, while the demultiplexer can handle up to single-ended frequency of 1MHz.

When no enable signal is present (Active-Low Enable is LOW), all output latches are inactive. When the Active-Low Enable is asserted (HIGH), the DEMUX output will follow the MUX data.
