The array has universal input and output pins that are connected to the external power supply and load respectively. The inputs are connected to a common positive supply, while the outputs are connected to the load.The operation of FST80100A is based on two fundamental processes, namely the charging and discharging of the gate capacitor and the commutation of the SCRs.
