The working principle of a FST8145A rectifier is based on the concept of reversed current flow through a diode. When the applied voltage is reversed, the diode will block the current flow, known as reverse bias. By alternating the direction of current flow, a rectifier effectively utilises the forward and reverse biasing of a diode to produce an alternating current.
