The FXLA104UMX is a high performance, single channel ESD/latch-up protected CMOS level translator. It allows a high-voltage and a low-voltage interface to be connected together in a wide variety of logic families and voltage levels. The FXLA104UMX is designed to easily integrate into high-speed systems and provide a low-skew, low-glitch design. It enables bidirectional data transfer between multi-voltage devices, where one side is powered with a higher voltage than the other side.

The main application fields of the FXLA104UMX are a wide variety of interface applications, from interfacing between different voltage families to interfacing between multiple host processors. In addition, the device also serves as an interface between high-speed and low-speed logic families in a wide variety of designs.

The FXLA104UMX has an extended 2.2 to 5.5V operating range, and it can be used to interface with various combinations of logic families and voltage levels, including LVTTL, LVCMOS and HSTL, as well as for point-to-point systems up to 2.5V and 5V systems up to 3.3V.
