The FXLA108BQX is a Logic-Translators, Level Shifters device. The FXLA108BQX comes in a 20-pin Quad Flat No lead (QFN) package with two banks of serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible IO and small form factor with built-in on detection circuit and temperature compensation to support high speed, low voltage and current consumption translation applications. It is designed to be used in a variety of applications that require bi-directional level translation of data signals from 3 V to 3.6 V or from 1.8 V to 2.5 V. The power supply of the FXLA108BQX can be a single 2.5 V supply or 3 V, 3 V, and 3.3 V supplies; alternatively, it can also accept 2.5 V, 1.8 V, and 3 V supplies.The FXLA108BQX has two banks of five IO pins each. The first bank contains two input and three output pins. These are capable of translating I/O levels from as low as 1.8 V to as high as 3.6 V. The second bank has three input and two output pins and is capable of translating I/O levels ranging from 3 V to 3.3 V. Both banks of IO pins can be configured in 8-bit or 16-bit mode.The FXLA108BQX also includes several features that provide additional flexibility. These include an on-board charge pump, operating temperature range up to 125° C, and on-chip voltage detection circuit with selectable detection voltage range. Additionally, it supports two different operating modes: Run-Time Mode and Sleep Mode. The Run-Time Mode allows for an active I/O transfer of a maximum data rate of 40 MHz. The Sleep Mode is designed for standby operation or power savings and reduces the data transfer rate to 4 MHz. An integrated programmable pull-up resistor on the SPI_CS pin can be used to ensure that the FXLA108BQX is always active at the end of transfer cycles.In order to support a wide range of applications, it is important for the FXLA108BQX to accommodate the different conditions found in different types power supplies.
