GMH8N is a generalized manifolding of clean beds of ultra-compact gas coolers. It is also a gas cooler for the purpose of obtaining large cooling capacities in conjunction with adjustable gas valves. It is made for the purpose of pressing large cooling capacity of high pressures, and operates by passing a gas-stream vertically through a stack of cylindrical fin-type heat exchangers. GMH8N comprises a heat exchanger housing and a fan surrounded by finned radiator-type channels. The heat exchanger housing, which is rectangular in shape, contains a number of symmetrically arranged circular air-flow channels.
