Optoisolators – Logic Output contains a variety of different technologies, such as H11N1W. This technology includes a narrow bandpass filter and utilizes light to create a reliable data communications link between two isolated systems. Its application field and working principle should be further illustrated.H11N1W is a logical output optoisolator technology designed to provide a high immunity data communication link and a wide range of applications. As compared to traditional optical isolators, H11N1W posses several advantages, such as providing common mode rejection immunity up to 1000 V, high speed, low insertion loss and excellent signal integrity. It is well suitable in situations where either high voltage or high speed is in demand.

To provide these excellent qualities, H11N1W technology utilizes a narrow bandpass filter. A narrow bandpass filter (NBFP) is an optical signal isolator with fast response. It uses an optical fiber filter to separate the signal from the noise and attenuate it to the desired level. The filter is based on the Fabry-Perot resonator architecture and consists of two mirrors with a variable optical cavity in between. This structure has the strong ability to link and separate the lightwave signals. The gain-bandwidth product of the NBFP is higher than that of the conventional FBG. This is due to the large optical gains achievable with the NBFP. In this way, noise and interference are reduced significantly.

H11N1W is a logical output optoisolator which uses this NBFP technology to achieve its excellent properties. It contains an LED and a photodiode which is housed in a hermetically sealed package. When the LED is ignited, photons from LED will pass the narrow bandpass filter and reach the photodiode. The photodiode then converts the lights to electrical currents. The electrical current is used to carry the data signals from one system to another, thus providing a reliable data communication link without mechanical contact.

The application field and working principle of H11N1W optoisolator can be summarized as follows: H11N1W is a logical output optoisolator which harnesses a narrow bandpass filter. The filter separates the signal from the noise and attenuates it to the desired level.
