Optoisolators – Logic Output is a form of optoisolator that use a light-emitting diode (LED) as its input device and a phototransistor or even sometimes a photo-diode as its output device. This process thus isolates the input/output of two different circuits, preventing logical operations from being disrupted by electrical noise present in a circuit.
