HCPL-7800 application field and working principle

HCPL-7800 is a high-speed, optically isolated complementary low-side gate driver with an integrated output current-limiting feature. It is designed to drive a wide range of high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFETs, IGBTs, and discrete bipolar transistors.
