The HMC831LP6CE is a three-channel wind noise equalizer from Analog Devices. It is suitable for use in a variety of applications, such as microphones, wind noise measurements, and wind noise compensation. The HMC831LP6CE uses a dual mix-ring architecture to provide excellent dynamic noise suppression and combines an optimized, low-grained topology with a highly configurable I/O interface.
The HMC831LP6CE is a clock generator, PLL and frequency synthesizer combined in one circuit. It contains three clock generator and/or PLLs, as well as frequency synthesizers. The first two channels are VCOs, while the third is a voltage-control digital clock generator (DCG). The first two channels are used to generate a composite clock signal and the third channel is used to generate an independent closed-loop frequency synthesizer.
